Start contributing to the mission!
Shift your impact into a higher gear.
When you join The Liberation Cycle, you aren’t just donating your time—you’re gaining a masterclass in mechanics and a toolkit of skills that will last a lifetime. Beyond the grease and gears, you’ll find yourself at the heart of a vibrant local network, working alongside a diverse crew of neighbors who share your drive for sustainability and social good. There’s no "abstract" charity here; you’ll see the direct result of your hard work in the eyes of the person riding your refurbished bike toward their new future. Plus, once you’ve helped us hit our milestones, our workshop becomes yours: after just 10 hours of service, you’ll earn full access to our professional stands and tools to keep your own ride in peak condition.
"Everyone loves tinkering with bikes don’t they? I always have and was disappointed when the bike shop I worked in closed down. I then discovered THE LIBERATION CYCLE on my doorstep. All manner of bicycles are donated and I get to help get them up and running again, saved from the dump, donated to good causes and all in a lovely well equipped workshop with endless coffee and biscuits. What’s not to like?"

Do I need my own tools?
No, we provide everything.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
We love consistency, but we have 'Scenic Route' options for busy schedules.
I’ve never fixed a bike in my life—is that okay?
Yes! We love teaching.
Am I too young/ old to fix a bike?
No! However, we will need to arrange a meeting with the adults responsible for prospective young persons looking to volunteer prior to any potential agreement or arrangement.
