T H E L I B E R A T I O N C Y C L E
is a registered charity dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone living on a low income and/or with a critical illness. Our founders have been where you are now. We understand what you need without you saying it.
The sustainable, custom bikes that we passionately create, our wares and services that we sell fuels our charitable purpose.
Donate your no-longer-needed bike. Each gets the TLC it needs before gifted to those living on a low income who need it.
Tune-up your bike, learn from our mechanic and guests or volunteer to promote active travel and bike-powered equity.
"If I diagnose cancer and refer them for treatment, the Oncologist's first question is 'what type of cancer?' The second question is 'how fit are they?' Staying mentally and physically strong enough to cope with treatment is vital. That's one of the reasons why TLC is such an important initiative."
Dr Alexander Wilkinson, Respiratory Consultant
"My bike is more than a mechanical device. I feel the emotional and physical support it gives me from my grief everyday. My wife knew that better than I did. Getting out on it; that each little investment in myself enabled me to support her living with cancer the best I could"
Antonio M.
"We are so grateful and so is the family [for their daughter’s free bike that enabled her to do her bike-ability with her mates]!
Thank you THE LIBERATION CYCLE"
